1. Specialists by choice
MDS was founded in Pietramurata (TN), northern Italy, in 1974 thanks to a Beretta Group investment.
In time, it has reconverted its production from a producer of mechanical parts into a double field of expertise:
- Mechanical process of the walnut wood and laminated for the production of wood parts for stocks and fore ends for shotguns and rifles;
- Mechanical process of steel coils for the production of magazines for pistols.
MDS excels in its remarkable ability to combine the high quality of its products with highly competitive production costs, thanks to constant investments, high automation and a quality integrated system.
2. Experts with a clear mission
For more than 40 years, the role MdS played has always been to deliver the best products and the right price. Our purpose brings meaning to our daily work, guides our decision-making and inspires action in a dynamic environment. It demonstrates our ongoing, clear commitment to working collaboratively and innovatively to deliver the highest price quality range for our customers.

MdS’s mission is to combine its experience as a Beretta Group contractor with investments in technology, organization and technical engineering, in order to reach the best price-quality offer and to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.
3. To the future, to the market

Wood specialization
Market oriented contractor
MdS was founded by the Beretta Group and right from the start it has worked as a production plant of iron components for pistols and similar.
MdS has invested in an automated production line for magazines.
All Beretta double stack magazines have been produced in MdS since 1989.
MdS has become the unique supplier for all the Beretta group for the wood parts. This includes the acquisition of one of the biggest walnut blanks’ inventory of the world (around 11 million dollars)
MdS seeks to convert its focus from an exclusive Beretta Group supplier to a market-oriented contractor, this being the biggest challenge the MdS management will face during the next years
